Wheelchair Guy: I'm still trying to figure out how to strap myself onto this so I can serenade people as they ride.  Too bad there's not a bar or something across the back that we could attach a trailer hitch to. Then we could put one of those small trailers from harbor freight on the back for me to ride on.*
Me: That would be pretty heavy for the horse, having to pull around the carriage and a trailer and 4 people.
Wheelchair Guy: Well she's a morgan, isn't she?
Me: No, she's a percheron.
Wheelchair Guy: That's like a morgan right?
Me: Not really, percherons are a lot bigger
Wheelchair Guy: :wheels away:

*I was going to try to photoshop a picture of this, but apparently the Amish have already done this.

The next time he mentions that, I'll just tell him he has to get his own horse:

Wheelchair Guy is a gentleman who rides around in an electric wheelchair playing the guitar and singing for tips.  Every week he has a new sob story about how he can't pays his $23 a month rent bill or how some assholes are trying to steal what little money he has by suing him over a bounced check that he wrote.

He's entertaining, I'll give him that much, but I wonder about him...  He's mentioned in the past that he would love to take a carriage ride, but being 400+ pounds and confined to a wheelchair makes that pretty much impossible.  Tonight, though, he had an epiphany.  What better way to end your night than by taking a romantic carriage ride through the city with a guy in a wheelchair serenading you while strapped to the back of the carriage?

I really thought he was joking when he mentioned his idea, so I played along and said that it would be cool.  Big mistake.  He wheeled around to the back of the carriage, stared at it for a few seconds, then said "yea, I can make that work" and wheeled off into the sunset.
